In 2023 I had a realisation; our business had far outgrown how we presented ourselves digitally. Our website and logo were living in the early 2010’s and how we get our values and message across online weren’t too far behind this dragging its heels!
Our rebrand is so much more than just a new website and logo though, during our discovery sessions early on in the project we were able to realise two important things that weren’t coming across in our digital iterations;
- Our experience, reputation, professionalism and level of service weren’t translating across in our previous website and digital media versions. It was time to create something that truly reflected our now market leading reputation and our values.
- We discovered one of our big unique selling points was our methodology, something that is engrained into our culture. We weren’t explaining, showing and selling that process. We also discovered that we had organically developed our own recruitment methodology borne and influenced from the one we trained in for which the credit is owed to the great Steve Finkel, a celebrated American executive search professional who had revolutionised executive search and recruitment with his books and work over the last few decades or so.
And so, we knew our methodology needed a name, a face, a brand to enable us to truly showcase this USP to the market. Working closely with Mark Persaud from Divine Aesthetic we fleshed out an eleven-step recruitment methodology which we titled “The Eden Ladder™” which I named after our founder Miles Eden.
Part of the discovery and work with Mark was centred around how to market this new methodology and it was suggested that an explainer video was one of the simplest ways to convey to the market what we actually do, something we quickly discovered that a lot of our competitors literally do not do whatsoever!
After many months of writing, drafts, rewrites and script ideas we came up with the official language and blueprint for The Eden Ladder™ and subsequently a taught script for a video explainer.
We then just needed a content creation specialist to bring it all to life and after weeks of searching we were able to find the amazing people at Digital Finch.
